A Feather Removed

when nighttime falls
and my soul takes to dreaming,
I find myself soaring freely
through a cool valley –
holding you close

rocking gently your small, cold frame –
drawing from it the wisdom of Death

you are free and I shall be too

I will not die clinging to memories
of pain or loss, my love

no, I shall fade from sight
a feather removed;
a spirit free to fly
to where you are

  1. I look forward to the other side as well as you do- it has been a long journey of the calling. When we cross our consciousness lives on we take everything in our essence when we cross. Apparently, we are reunited with who we want to be reunited. You will see your baby.

    • I have no doubt, Joseph. I look forward to it more and more actually. I know people I love don’t like that, but I am increasingly disenchanted with this part of the program 😂. Seen enough.

      • Yes when I say I want to abdicate the earth realm, people say I am morbid. What is more morbid hanging on to threads of materialism and all that goes with it and looking at the state of the world as I feel this can be a nasty realm. I say lets go together. Here are lines I came up a week ago “In between your dreams is where you will find the key to set yourself free. A key to unlock the chains that keep you, a prisoner on the earth. I will allow your freedom when you unlock it. Fly well.”

      • Beautiful! I’m not saying I’m for ending my journey by my hands, that’s not my way at all. I am still here for some reason and I’ll keep fighting to fulfill it.

        I’m just saying I am not afraid to see it end when it’s time. My memory album is plenty full.
